He was popular in the nineteenth century and composed more than two hundreds pieces for Piano, suites and Opera. His famous pieces are 'Serenade, Op. 15', 'Ìätudes de Virtuosit̩, Op. 72' and 'Boabdil der letzte Maurenk̦nig, Op. 49' .
