This quirky little instrument has a bright sound, but the real winner is the side-sound port. It adds some much welcome bass and warmer mid frequencies to the tone of this concert uke. Hard to beat instrument at this price. The mahogany gives the instrument a slightly warmer, darker sound which at this price is quite rare!
