Theatre Trips

A Major is now offering theatre trips to professional theatre. We arrange the tickets and the travel, so all you have to do is book, turn up, and be driven in a luxury coach direct to the theatre.

This page outlines our Terms and Conditions for this service, some of which are passed on by the theatre, booking agent or coach firm.

How does it work?

We are offering tickets and travel from Trentham Shopping Village, right to the theatre, and safely home again afterwards. Trentham Shopping Village has free parking, and 24 hour security so your vehicle will be safe while you're away.

We also use local coach firms, who offer luxury travel and are fully insured.

You will be met at the coach by an A Major Representative who will hand you your ticket, and take care of any other needs or concerns you might have.

That's it!

Terms and Conditions

Provision

A Major Music Supplies Ltd ("the company") is acting as a broker, for the supply of theatre tickets and transport to the venue on your behalf. The company will provide a representative to help with queries and provide customer support.

If you wish to arrange your own transport you may collect your ticket from us and make your own arrangements, but this will not entitle you to a discount.

Ticket Allocation

All tickets will be the best allocated for group booking, and will be in the stalls or Royal Circle, unless otherwise indicated. Where tickets are booked in one transaction we shall attempt to keep those tickets together, but this cannot be guaranteed. Additionally preferences of location can be expressed on the coach, but again, not guaranteed.

Tickets remain the property of the company until redeemed by the theatre and cannot be resold without permission of the company. This is to ensure we have contact details of everyone on the trip, so it's important that if this changes we are informed.

Tickets may not be reserved - they must be paid for in full at time of booking.

Cancellations

If a show is cancelled you will receive a full refund. If the coach breaks down or is delayed and any or all of the show is missed, you may be offered an alternative showing, or offered a refund.

Bookings will not be refunded once made under any other circumstances except:

  • at the discretion of the company following representation by the customer
  • where the company is not able to safely provide the service to the customer

Children and Seniors

Children of 15 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult. However, children 16 or 17 years of age may travel unaccompanied with the written permission from a parent or guardian, but this does not qualify them to accompany other children under the age of 16 who do not have parent or guardian permission.

Regardless of the above, there may be other age limitations imposed by the organisers of an event, show or concert.

Coach Seating

Coach seats are unallocated at the time of booking, and seating is provided on a first-come first-served basis. Your safety is the responsibility of the coach driver, and failure to follow his or her instructions may lead to refusal to board or you being asked to leave the coach. If you are refused onto the coach, or asked to leave, any expenses incurred in alternative arrangements for your return home will not be reimbursed by the company.

Departure Times

We shall clearly advertise the time and place to catch the coach both to and from the venue. We shall also endeavour to ensure everyone is present, but please try to be prompt as we must depart on time for the benefit of other customers.

Your contact details will be taken as part of your booking, but it is your responsibility to ensure you catch the coach. The company will not reimburse or compensate for any costs incurred as a result of missing the coach.

Seat Belts

2 or 3-point seatbelts are provided on all coaches for your safety. It is a legal requirement for all passengers over the age of 14 to wear seatbelts, however, we strongly advise for any passenger travelling that where seatbelts are fitted, they are worn.

Insurance

The company will ensure that the coach company carries all relevant personal liability and travel insurance. This will not cover individuals missing a trip due to health or other reasons, and the company indemnifies itself against such losses.

Right of Admission

The right of admission to any event is reserved to the promoter. The company will not accept any liability or offer any refund or compensation in the event that you are refused entry to a venue by nature of your behaviour or demeanour (e.g. being drunk or under the influence of alcohol, being, or appearing to be, under the age limit for admission, acting in such a manner that you are refused entry). You must be prepared to be subjected to a security search of your person and belongings.

Change of Artist

In some circumstances outside of the company's control a named star may not appear for a given performance. The company will never book a show knowing that this is the case, and no refunds or compensation will be offered if any member of the cast is played by an understudy.

Complaints

We hope you have a wonderful trip, and that if you have any concerns on the trip your A Major representative will be able to help. However, if you feel you need to contact us to make a complaint please email sales@amajormusic.co.uk with the details of your complaint, or write to us at: A Major Music, Trentham Shopping Village, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 8AX. Where your complaint relates to either the coach firm or the venue we shall pass on your complaint.
